'Don't disappoint me...'

He could see that she was fighting; fighting as hard as she could, but the energy she had expelled had weakened her body and the lighted lord was clawing his way through her soul just as hard. He could already feel her well of energy filling as it pulsed the air. Cepheid was serious...but so was he.

She needed a push.

Feelings of rage mixed with deep concern; a hatred that burned to blackest char within the very core of his existence yet he could feel something else. Worry for the woman, something that defied everything he was as a child of darkness, but he felt not the rush to race to her side, scoop her up like a fragile doll and scream out emotional lies. No, no. This was violent. This was true.

He let his hatred of Cepheid guide his actions. Xellos grabbed Luna by the head, tilted her back as forcefully as he could without breaking her neck and whispered into her face. A low growl that a regular human, a weaker human would have attempted to flee at the very sound. His reached down to his core, the sacred core, eyes shone of golden red.

"Don't think I am a fool Cepheid. I saw what you tried to do and mark my words...you try that again I will rip your precious vessel down to the tiniest fragment and scatter her remains to the four winds."

He could end it right there, despite her warnings Xellos could pull her apart but he waits. He listens. He watches but all he could think to say were words that enemies understand yet spoken as passionately as a near desperate lover.

"And Luna...don't you dare disappoint me. I don't spare you for a later time so that you can give up on me now."

She managed a smile...
