Description

Working with texture and detail

Texture used

Luna in her full knight get up; tried to include different things that represented each of the dragon gods: The scepter for Rangort, the Book for Ragradia, Axe for Valbazard and flags for Valwyn.

Later I might add some lighted runs ands tuff to the weapons because I think they need work, especially the axe since it's so close to the viewer but I had no interweb and I have no idea how to crosshatch metallic sheen so I'll have to look up examples.

I also think her chest was a little high so I tried to compensate it with the straps, sort of blend the two ideas.

Overall, I like the way this came out. I was torn if I wanted this to be like telling her story on a piece of parchment or if I wanted to do a statue or something So I...blended the ideas? Not so sure I achieved the stone idea but the paper feel came across well and she pops off the page, I think.

...think I did ok this time. I also made adjustments to her visor and crown. she's the most decorated of all the knights and...fk I have to do Adlay's and Lyos' designs next.

I may also do some of these for the other characters; for sure I'll get Xellos in there somewhere; give him a bad ass cleric garb.

I appreciate the thought that went into this piece of art. Several items in the picture represent different characters from this universe, adding a unique touch. The texture used blends well with the details of the drawing and helps bring out the entire piece. The shading adds the right amount of depth and dimension to the entire drawing. Not too much and not too little. A preferable balance is applied here. When looking at this piece I try to look for things that I would change or improve upon, however I can't see anything that stands out to me in a negative way. The stance and proportions of her body show a strong form and were drawn out very nicely.
