My troll hunter; working on some different lighting. Following my new book and tutorials.

Ok, so I changed the light source. It's been decided that I and a friend like the dramatic backlighting but I wasn't feeling confident in the direction it was going so I moved the light off to stage left..

now I have NO idea how I'm going to color this but I did get around to adding a bunch of details that I wanted minus the tabard design which I'll add as part of the coloring process instead of drawing it. There are also engravings and such that I want to add plus the colored lights from the enchants and the equipment fun stuff. Like the shoulders she's wearing are a set of armor from Burning crusade. I drew the pike from the top of my head and the bow is a play on my pvp and dps bow..love it.

Anyway, I'm doing my absolute best to understand all of the resources I've gathered over the passed few months including a file someone sent me on how their digital painting process works but adding color is becoming quite the pain. I hope you all like the changes and I'm always down for suggestions! Lord knows I need them!

I'm on round 5 of this thing. I like the fifth attempt so far but this overlay thing is really strange to me and I don't know if I want to do a cel shading thing or the painterly thing. I could really use some advanced advice on how to finish this. I get where the light is coming from but adding color isn't working out as well as I'd hoped.
