Alls I can tell you is that I am seriously nervous about posting this piece.

Seriously. This is like..moment of truth.

Xellos and Luna kick some serious ass seriously. I'm imagining them doing this as almost a casual thing. Like..lovers who go for nice strolls along the beach...Luna and Xellos beat the ever living snot out of each other...because it's fun. Right?

Anyway, I set this up like it was a screencap.

Critiquing:

I am well aware of the anatomy issues. Like Xellos' right leg for instance but I am still practicing some little things that seem to be plaguing me and these intense poses really confuse me sometimes but..I'm working as best I can to get those right. I know about that and I'm kindly not looking for critiques on anatomy.

I'm looking for critiques on the coloring, the use of colors, lighting and the composition. I see *some* trouble spots already but not sure how to fix them so that is what I'm looking for.

BEHOLD! My first critique on DA.

Love the line work, and the lights and shadows on the clothes, as well as the reflected lights.
Composition is great-artist-worthy, it's dynamic, it's got gorgeous colors which complement each other very well. The bright middle and dark sides/corners really make it for me. You know what you're supposed to be looking at in this one.

I noticed only 2 problems: 1) the clouds could use some mixer-brushing/smudging to make them look more realistic and less rushed 2) the sun flare is unnecessary and that some lights on dodge/overlay are a bit too prominent.

Aw yeaaaa, sets my blood boiling <3 Xellos would be freaky as an opponent though, since he's so sadistic... you know he won't stop when you're down. xD

I am no good for critiqing seeing as your work puts mine to shame.. This is so beautiful the colors blend to gether quite well and the pose is just epic. They both look like they are having fun. I think this piece is just amazing

I love this piece! Unfortunately, I can't give you a proper critique because my stupid monitor doesn't like dark colors. It makes them darker. However, the imaging is very good. I like how the sun is rising behind Luna's head and Xellos' spiky drill things are coming down out of the clouds. I also like how you can see just a hint of the night sky above the closest drill. Good play on the whole Light vs Darkness theme of your story, with those two caught between. All in all, a good pic. I give it 4 stars.

This just looks amazing O_O And does seem like something these two would do to pass the time for fun XD I just love that reflection on Xelloss's staff and Luna's expression does give the idea she's enjoying herself XD
Now the way you have his awls appearing looks great and all, but two of the smaller ones (One which is just under his staff) look a bit off (Maybe this is just me)

But really great work with this! This is the kinda scene I'd love to see in the actual anime (Xelloss fights so rarely, but when he does it's awesome)

Xellos fighting with someone who can whoop him is also rare. XELLOS fighting with the full extent of his powers as never actually happened. (at least I don't think so). GAAAAWD! I need to work harder to get my story out.
